If anything were to happen to you, (or your collection), gasp, I think I would cry....
They stored the Earth's collection of seed/plant life, under a glacier (in Norway I think, to preserve them for eons...), I'm thinking thats where your collection needs to go in the end!

Too true Dave! That's where Lisa will take over. To continue, I'll put this picture back up. My trothies for my 20th TTA are on top of the white cabinet, In front of the cabinet, is my rolling stool, of a Harley Motorcycle seat. Under that Pepsi towel, is my 1981 perfect black velour Turbo Trans Am passenger seat. Here is a closeup of the top of the white cabinet. Off to the left side, are some AC-Delco and Sears Icechests that look like car batteries. The throphies in front of those, are for my '79 ragtop TA and my '70 TA. All the ones on the white cabinet, are for my 20th TTA. Now you see why I stopped alot of car show showings. Here, the white cabinet is opened for you to see. Top shelf, caps and towels. I have a lot more now, I may just have to take some more photos. Here, below the shelf. Shirts and jackets, all Firebird and Trans Am related. What you don't see below them, is another shelf, with Trans Am bedsheets, and curtains for windows. Yes, if you couldn't tell, I am crazy. Next, is my reference library. Press Kits, Brochures, both Regular and Deluxe, Sales Guides, Ad Planners, Service Books, and Paint Chips all fill this up. From 1965 to 2009. I don't have everything, and some look like dupes, but have either updates, or extra stuff like bullitens and such added to them. Some Press Kits have more photos or slides. I have some of these brand new in the original GM/Pontiac boxes, and they are stacked under those two AC-Delco/Sears battery looking ice chests. ;D And yes, those are pillows that look like Firebirds and Trans Ams, the second gen ones are Turbo Trans Ams. Behind them, are magazine artcles that I cut out of magazines and put all together in these books, for my reference. Sometimes, two magazines are destroyed to do this. And I still keep one good magazine off to the side. Yep, I am for sure crazy. Another AC-Delco battery looking ice chest, this one bigger than the other one, and a 1989 Pontiac dealership advertising giant cardstock display that sat on top of the cars, in the showroom. I have two different versions. And here, the other rack, as I have two of them. Notice the different pistons on the top side. These cabinets and racks have been moved around abit, but you see what I have. I also took many photos of these items, much closer, to see what I have. But I would for sure fill up this tread with photos. This is a latest photo of the side, and you can see the part of one car in the garage. I am puitting it up, to show the next photo. I keep the two cars covered, witrh moving blankets on them, in case I take something down, and look at it. Also, in the middle top, are all my Trans A,/Firebird books. Between the magazines articles I put together, and the new in the GM/Pontiac boxes Product Books. Here is a tease of the other side of the car. And still more to come! I'll post more alittle later. Enjoy, George

Ya Dan, I knew you'd like seeing it again. I believe that you also videoed it. Or, part of it. I don't remember. I do know you got some of the house inside. OK, Now the other side of where the 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am is parked. Here, is where I have two big racks, just holding my spare dupe plastic models. NOTE: some of the models are noew sold, like the big 1/18th scale Trans Ams, sorry. Dealership models are on the far left side, including full cases of them for some years. Here is a closeup of some of the dealership plastic models by Ertl. Next to this, is a big rack, filled with more Firebird related stuff. Here, behind this banner, is two large Recaro seat boxes, filled with Firebird/Trans Am posters, photos, and lots of paper literature that I haven't even gone thru yet! And yes, I love Taco Bell (where the banner came from) Below this, is the large rack. I have broken the rack up in two photos, so you can see what I have. I have put together Pontiac Press Photos of Firebirds/Trans Ams, Post cards, and Pontiac literature of all kinds, that don't go in Pontiac dealership books. Dupes of ads, and books filled with photos of when I was in a Trans Am Club (Trans Am Club Of America, Southern California), Photo Albums of all my cars, and cars that I owned before, as well as a book of photos of just some of my parts and stuff. Books that I put together of vins of cars that I got off cars in the junk yards, that were destroyed. I have over 2 Albums of those by themselves. The bottom 2 shelves have Pontiac magazines-Pontiac Enthusaist and High Performance Pontiac, as well as Smoke Signals, which is the monthly newsletter of P.O.C.I. (Pontiac Oakland Club, International). More to follow! ;D George

Today, I will finish this side of part of my garage. Next to the last photo, which is my large rack of different notebooks that I've put together, and car magazines, is a small glass display case. In it, are mugs, belt buckles, some old Ertl stamped metal diecast, and some other Firebird related items. On top of this glass display case, is an oak display cabinet my brother made for me years ago, that fits small Matchbox/Hot Wheels sized car perfectly. Now, this is full, and I have no more room to display my opened ones, so the rest of what opened cars I have, is stuffed away in a box somewhere. And I'm not sure where it is, either. Anyway, here is the oak cabinet with my opened Firebird diecast. And yes, about it, are the small numbered order thingys from Carls Jr., and Skakey's Pizza. Why do I have those? Well, they pretty much match the year of the cars. Behind the cabinet, is some boxes filled with more diecast, including the Chervron Cars. Here is the glass display case undeneath the oak cabinet display. And, some closeups for you to see what's inside it. Some belt buckles, tie tacks, cuff links, mug, key fobs. Some of these are Pontiac awards, some are even from the Van Nuys factory, that built the cars. GM demo 8 track tapes, unopened. A Trans Am puzzle, a AC-Delco coaster, Trans Am Club matches. A Smokey and the Bandit II 8 track tape, and a Trans Am wallet, along with a Trans Am lighter. Cups, mugs, and the Ertl stamped metal diecast, as well as some other stuff, like small Hot Wheels Banshees. Even a cermaic made Trans Am. How about a Trans Am AM radio, and a Trans Am phone? George

Now, To the other side of the other garage door. First off, a small rack between what is posted above, and the new ones posted below. This rack is filled with Police diecast in 1/18th scale, from where I am from, SoCal. So, Sheriffs, Calif Highway Patrol, and LAPD cars. Under them, are my NASCAR and Indy programs, some are dupes. The first large rack, has boxes piled over it. Inside these boxes, are Firebird 1/64th diecast, broken down in make of diecast, and series. The Hot Wheels boxes are each filled with 72 cars each, of nothing but Firebirds/Trans Ams. Under these boxes, is the rack, filled with spare carbs, intakes, heads, and timing chain covers. As well as paint that I use for the parts and cars. The next rack has some really rare sets of 1991-1992 Trans Am/GTA taillights. 2 pairs of them. Below them, are boxes of spare NOS parts and boxes of auto paint. George

Today, I'll show what I have next to what I posted yesterday.. Next to these racks posted above, is my other car, a highly modded 1981 Turbo Trans Am (which use to be a Special Edition). I keep it covered all the time, since it's black, and collects dust very fast (like within seconds! ;D ). And, what I have on the car (besides the banners, which I have since taken off). But I do have 3 moving pads on the car cover, to protect the car, if I set something down on it. Yep, I have a peddle car of a Turbo Trans Am in black! Pretty cool, huh? And, as you can see, I even brought my surfboard out here to the high desert. I know, no waves, but you never know, they say if California slides into the ocean, I'll have beachfront property. Let's just say I'm ready. Now, about the car, in the center of the roof, I installed this: How cool is this? It's roughly 4 foot by 9 foot sign that someone out here in Kingman just had sitting along side their house! They gave it to me free! yes, free! I bought 3 2 foot square light assemblies, with those U shaped light bulbs, and put them sehind the sign. Now, it seems everyone wants it! Sorry, not for sale. And behind the car, not against the back wall, since I have other stuff behind and against the back wall, is a couple of home made book racks, filled with all types (except for Pontiac car magazines) of car magazines. Only problem is, I have it so filled, that I ran out of room, and I have over 20 milk crates still filled with twin stacks of car mags in each one! Who knows how many car mags I have? I sure don't. Some day, I hope to get them all organized better. I only have pictures of the tops taken, since when I took the photos, I didn't have the car pulled out, but you get the idea. Anyway, here you go! Above the two big bookcases, are some of my other 1/18th scale diecast. Enjoy! George

He-He! I pretend it isn't there. When I know someone is coming over, both of us will start cleaning and dusting. usually a day or two before someone shows up. Hey, you'll have to tell me a good time to call you, you didn't call back over the weekend. George

Its been a busy week and weekend for me. Been working a lot of overtime. I'm going to one of my diecast club this Saturday. I finally got the weekend off. Hopefully I can get the new 2010 Hot Bird. I think its black or dark blue with a red flame job on the bottom of the car w/red rims. I have friend that has already found one for me. He is also going to customize it. I told I didn't like the rims and he said he can take care of it. He is the same person that did my RLC Batmobile. Couple of months ago he gave me a since 68 Hot Bird. He is pretty giving guy as long you not asking for chase car. LOL
I will try to give you call after the meeting. I picked up that Hot Wheels 1/50 scale Gold '77 Trans Am at TRU the other day for you. Sometimes email me. I have such a hectic work week sometimes and I tend to let things slide pass me.

Continuing on, Here, I have a couple of engines, one ready to drop into a car. Here, an almost ready to assemble, a 1970 Ram Air IV 400 4 speed engine. All I am missing, is the crank and pistions. Then to machine, and assemble and drop into my 1970 Trans Am. Next to it, is my already finished, ready to drop into a car, 1974 455, for one of my 1974 Trans Ams (unless I put it into another car). It has been rebuilt stock. Above these, is a 1983 Trans Am poster, with the Firebird Girl, Natalie Carrol. Off to the side of it, are a few second gen center consoles. 1970 Ram Air IV engine. 1974 455 engine Next to these engines, Are a wheel rack I built, to hold some Trans Am wheels. It'll hold 9 sets of wheels. I have another one built and stored inside one of my storage sheds. You can see some refinished 16 inch Diamond Spoke (GTA style) wheels. I already have a finished set on my modded '81 Turbo Trans Am. I even have more of these stacked all over, in the garage, and in some sheds. You can barely see another row under these 5 sets showing, and not counting the wheels with tires on the very top. I'll finsh this side of the garage alittle later. George

Next to all this, Is my tool cabinets. I have 3 of them. One large, and two half the size of the big one. Here, you see what's on the wall over the one tool cabinet. Then, the tool cabinet itself. On top of this cabinet, is an old Turtle Wax display, which I have put some of my waxes on for display. Next, my large tool cabinet. Over the top of this tool cabinet, I took an original Pontiac poster display, and put in a blown up photo of my 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am. I think it looks like a real Pontiac ad for the Turbo Trans Am for that year. ;D Here, the lower part of my tool cabinet. I know, who cares what tools I have, or what cabinets. I am just showing what I have in my garage, that's all. I still have alot more to follow. George

Next to my tool cabinets, Is my work bench (that I built myself), and over that, are cabinets that hold some of my NOS parts for my current cars. Here are the cabinets, and what is inside them. I have Snap On calendars attached to the doors. Here, are some of what is inside the cabinets. All NOS AC-Delco parts. Here, are spark plugs, distribator caps, points, wires, oil filters, and a few other things. In the other cabinets, are these items. Here, what's on the work bench. Yep, even more NOS parts, as well as a few sewcond gen steering wheels. Yes, those are even NOS hood birds, unopened in the tubes still. Around the bottom of the work bench, is a Alpine banner, protecting what's under the bench from dust and stuff. I have not taken a picture of what's under the banner. George

Now, we have the whole back of the garage to go thru. I have cases and stuff displayed on both sides of the far back wall. I will go down the back wall, one side at a time. So, to start, I have a glass display case with my slot cars and remote control cars. On the top of the case, are my displayed dealership promo cars. Below these promo cars, are the RC cars and slot cars. George
