Where ever I can find room. My metal rack is full and the shelfs are full too. I might have to empty out one of the Batmobiles display cases to have more room I figure something out.

Paul, I dug out my Rad Bird. Here's a photo of mine. This shows people that it opens up like a real race car. George

Cool George! Its the only 3rd gen. Funny Car that I know of. I never seen one before. I have 2 of them now. I found another one at one of my car shows. It was in a box of .25 cent cars. It needs some TLC but it still looks good.

Good score! For some reason, everybody here in this town, sells used diecast, which is real beat up, for a dollar a car! I mean the plastic windshields broken or cracked, and alot of the paint chipped or scratched, and the chrome on the wheels all gone. Heck, I would buy them for a quarter. George

Well George, Its been a slow month for me. I have not been looking all that much and trying to save some money. I guess since February is a short month and Valentines Day and my son's birthday is in Feb. It does not really give me any money to buy diecast with. It is also slow this time of year at my job. Which does not help matters any but I did not stop cold turkey here is a few cars I picked up. Rubber Tire Firebirds from the first series and a cool RAOK from the same guy I bought the rubber tire birds from. Redline Rubber Tire Zinger! That is a cool Raok! Forever 64 series 3 Maroon Firebird. (found at Walmart) I bought a few other cars but they are in the other diecast section.

Maroon Bird huh? Nice. I found a black one. And I thought I already had it, till I came home and saw different card stock and number on the top corner. Good score! George

Here is a few more Firebirds to the collection. Kind of slim pickings at the club last Saturday as for Firebirds. One guy had a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am by Johnny Lightning but it was way overpriced. I just have to wait a little longer I guess.

Nice finds! What is that IROC car from? It doesn't look like any I have (or, I must be getting old, and can't remember ). That Smokey and the Bandit stuff does get pricey, just like the Knight Rider stuff. You should see what the diecast goes for on ebay. They have/had the Hot Wheels Japanese version of Kitt in 1/64th scale, for a buy it now of $150! I'm glad I didn't pay that much for mine. Now, if I only can pick up Karr! George

The IROC Firebird is from the World Race series. It was not part of the mainline cars. I think series was based on the Hot Wheels cartoon. I don't remember seeing them in the stores. It was packaged but the car came out of its slot inside the blister.

Nice scores! I didn't know you were going to collect those ProStock and Funny Cars. They get pricey when you start collecting the Action 1/24th scale versions of them. I need to get more photos of my cars to post up too. George
