Is anyone else into rare or low production 4th gen Firebirds?
I absolutely love tracking down unusual 4th gens.
For example, I have spent several years looking for a hardtop, LT1, WS6, automatic, Trans Am. I finally spotted one on ebay this week.
Also, I love how rare some of the Firebird Formula's can be. WS6 Formulas are few and far between, start adding things like 1LE or rare colors into the mix and you wind up with very low production cars.
Colors like Jamaica Yellow, Sport Gold Metallic, Bright Purple metallic, etc. White convertable tops... on and on. ;D
I'll try and post some pictures later of the more unusual stock 4th gens I've come across.

Here is an awesome example. It is a 1998 WS6 1LE Hardtop Formula in Sport Gold Metallic. 1 of 1. Original owner. Not exceptionally rare, but a nice combo that you do not usually see. 1994 T/A GT with white rims. Super clean 96 WS6 T/A. A rare 1993 Sunfire Yellow T/A A Sunset Orange Met. Firehawk Vert... Dont see those every day. Sport Gold Metallic 98 base Bird. More to come.

Nice shots Dan. It's funny, but all the Anniversary cars tend to be the most made of same color/option groups. Yet they still pull the most money, if they are in good condition. I do like the yellow and purple cars. Purple, because they scream at you (which is why I also love Mopars ), and I do like the yellow, if it's fairly nice shade of yellow. Most that Pontiac used are too dull for me. Gold is OK to me, but I try to stear away from silver and gold cars for some reason. I must admit, a white car would not be my first choice, yet half my cars are white. Go figure! I am a big fan of color matching wheels on cars, always have been. That's not to say I wouldn't take any of the cars pictured. So many car, no money, and no garage space. But I can still have my wants, right? ;D Keep them coming! George

Thanks for sharing Dan, and yes seeking out rare 4th Gens is one of my favorite things to do. I really like that 1LE Sport Gold Formula.......... I'd love to have a Sport Gold WS6 car, in fact, I was pretty close to owning one last year. Turns out that a friend of mine now owns it (we didn't know each other back when she was buying it, but we're good friends now all because of the car)....long story I'll share someday. Here's a couple pics of some more rare stuff...... '98 Sport Gold Metallic WS6 I missed out on... '97 Hurst/Lingenfelter Formula... '98 Hurst/Lingenfelter TA.... '98 Bright Purple Metallic..... A friends '95 Deep Purple Metallic Formula...

I love both year Hurst/Lingerfelter cars. I've seen both on the street, in Las Vegas, when going to the SEMA Shows those years. I think that's why I love the 10th Anniversary Firehawk so much as well. George

Here is another cool one. TTA850's BGM 1998 T/A. One of just 98 T/A's built in that color.

He really likes that car too. He is playing around with selling another 2 of his 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams. He had a super collection of them. Next time you see him, say "Hi" to him from me. ;D George

I've been stalki...er seeing this one driving near me for several years. I managed to snap a quick cell phone pic last night. It has gotten pretty rough over the years. Missing rocker gfx, dented 1/4's and hood, spray painted black wheels...

That's to bad, wonder if the owner realizes what they have?!?!? Have you seen the couple Blackbirds on Ebay recently?? I'm really liking with this one (of course it's white so that helps)...........

Those GMMG / Carl Black cars are nice. I do not think I've ever seen one in person yet. I love the simple styling, just the hood stripes and charcoal rims. Very good looking combo. I really liked the C.E. Formula concept too. As for that gold 98, I've been watching that car for years. ;D Initially I saw it at the local race track once or twice for F-body events, (I remember seeing it parked side by side with another gold 98 T/A!) which leads me to believe the owner may know they have something special. Since then I've seen it parked at a few local restraunts, I am going to assume they work there. As well as a local bowling alley on league nights... Over the years it has gone from clean and stock to pretty worn

I really love those Carl Black cars as well. Next to the Anniversary cars, I like these graphics the second best. I haven't seen any up close either. George

That Purple Pearl is a very overlooked color. It looks great when it is in nice shape. I've never been big on the Chameleon.
