Ha! You have a 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am, and you don't know Jeff Beitzel? I met him before he died, at a SEMA show. Too bad I didn't know he was going to be there, I would have gotten him to sign something related to the 20th TTA. George

LOL, I knew the name, but I guess I've really never seen a picture of him. That's pretty cool that you got to meet him in person.

Another big name with the 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am is Scott Kelly. Scott was the head engineer for PAS. I have not met him in person, but back around 1989/1990, I talked with him for maybe an hour or so. He gave me all the info on my car (all the different numbers, including my car build number, which for years, everyone said no way that I could know my number, or even have that car number-proved them wrong! ;D ), and I almost bought his car, a hardtop 20th TTA. He chromed it all out at the time, and I didn't want a modded car. Plus, back in that time, a car with the most options, always pulled the most $$$. Years later, it's the other way around. I would love to meet him and get him to autograph some stuff, including my car. George

I'm sure you've seen the talk about a secret guest speaker who's suppose to "shed the light on alot of things" for us at the 2011 reunion.......makes you wonder who they have lined up!?!?!?!? Are you going to make it out this way for that event, if so I have a book I want you to autograph??

So, You don't know who the guest speaker is? I do. ;D And he remembered me. ;D I want to come out, but it's so far to travel, and who knows how the economy will be, with all the new taxes coming out in a few months. Let alone what gas prices will be. I am trying to sell some stuff, so I can get me a new truck and a car trailer. But it seems nothing is selling. Now, about that book. Only 1? I did two you know. Ha!I am hoping I will be there. Time will tell. George

LOL, no I don't......somehow I figured you or Simo would know who it is. I'm with you on the economy, and the uncertain outlook on gas prices. Ha, yeah I think I only have one of your books. Shoot it wasn't until recently that I put two and two together that you're the author of the one I have. LOL......what can I say I'm a little slow sometimes. LOL...........I have the 1969-1999 photo album with the 30th Annv on the cover. I still have to get the 1967-2000 one. Hope it works out that you guys can make it!!!

I should ask Jim if I'm allowed to tell anyone. I don't remember being told not to tell anyone, but if I do tell people, there goes the surprise. It was kinda easy to figure out who it was, and it did surprise Jim that I knew. You need to put info and pictures of your car here, so others can see and find out more about these cars. And show what you have collected so far. I'm sure someone (maybe even me ) can help you add to your collection. ;D I would like to know about all your cars. ;D George

LOL you asked me to do that before, and somehow I avoided. I must tell you, I've already shared more here than I have elsewhere, this is the only site that knows about the newest 15th TA....... I tend to keep a low profile when it comes to what I own. I hate to have people perceive that I'm somehow bragging or arrogant. I'm pretty fortunate to be able to enjoy my "hobbies" with a small collection of vehicles, I'm also keenly aware that not everybody is so lucky. Therefore I usually just keep quiet on what all I own. Heck even the neighbors don't realize the extent of the collection, they just see a similiar looking car coming into the drive and think nothing of it...........when I was leasing new trucks I'd get the same color and style just so nobody would know it was new. It took the one neighbor a year before he realized that the GMC was now a Chevy, and the other neighbor never caught on. I guess I just feel that it's better to be humble than proud. You may be able to talk me into it at some point, it seems like you have a tighter group of enthusiast here who enjoy each other. Some sites are way to large and have waaayyy to many "opinions".

I know what you mean. I use to post photos up on other Trans Am websites, only to have some people there make nasty comments about me seeming to know everything, or showing off. So, I stopped going to quite a few of them, and only now, go back, but don't post photos anymore. I only post them here on my own website. I use to get PMs and emails from others, who wanted to see more photos, and hear more stories and stuff. I basically show stuff, to show others what is out there. And I know I don't even have the tip of the iceburg of stuff that is out there. Feel free to post up when you want. I don't want to push you. Although I would love to hear about your cars. Ha! George
