Well, I just scored on ebay again. Got these 1/64th scale Pat Musi Firebird Drag cars, one regular (I have two already, and got lucky, as I got Pat to sign them at a SEMA show), and one is a White Lightning version. Roughly 10% are White Lightnings The interior is white vs. the black interior. The white varies from the different make and year cars, but in the one version of a car, they are all the same. hence, this car would all have the white interior. Some cars have white bottoms, some have white tires, etc. I have some other Trans Am/Firebird White Lightnings, and I'll have to post those as well. George

I just got a few more in the mail over the weekend, and a few I dug out, to take photos. Here are a couple more regular with the White Lightning version for you to see. 1972 silver Trans Am, Series 4 Johnny Lightning. Here, the 1978 orange Trans Am, Series 4 Johnny Lightning. The Johnny Lightning White Lightning are about 10% of the total produced. And, I just got this, the new Greenlight Flames Series, by Milestone/Greenlight. The green metallic version is their "White Lightning" version, or chase version. This series has the regular car as one of 1500, while the chase version (green metallic) is one of 150. Both are numbered at the bottom. My green is #123. George

Here's some more that I just picked up: No numbered bottom. No numbered bottom. Number 43 on the bottom. Just a few more greens, and I'll have them all (until the next release ). George

Just before I went to Dayton I picked up the "Pinks" edition 89 Formula.
Still looking for the others...

I scored the "Pinks" Green machine, but noticed that it's not a Formula, but a Trans Am, with the aero package. I am waiting on my regular black versions from ebay to show up. Check yours, does it have the aero package? George

Your right George. The Pinks car is a T/A.

Here is some more I scored. These were made by a Trans Am Club. Pretty cool. I may have to look into something like this. I have more, but I have to get photos taken. I'll do it this week. George

Yep, Lots of dupes, just not the Green Machines (their version of the chase cars). I just bought a full case of 1/18th scale Greenlight 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams (6 in a case), and I'm waiting for them to show up. Should be here by the time you get here. Also, here are a few more photos of some of the cool stuff I got. So far, I have all their Firebird Chase cars (Green Machines) and regular versions. The Green Machines get pricey. Lisa bought me this over the weekend. And, I got these while in Daytona. And these were waiting for me when I got home. I got only one spare (all he had at the time), so it's now displayed as well. They are all numbered on the bottom, with a 1500 number released. The red open one is #502. The 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams are out, and a ton of people are listing the numbers that they have, so owner's can get their matching diecast. I need #231 if anyone ever gets that one. Mine should be here within a week or so. George

Very cool stuff George. I wish I could display my 1:18 like that. I've only got about a dozen or so on display, I had to start putting the rest of them back in their boxes and into the closet. I just didnt have the room to have them all out. I just noticed I have all of the ones pictured above except the red and yellow 2nd gen and the GTA.

Dan, The red and yellow one is a 1973 Mickey Thompson Trans Am, a Limited Edition. I am after the Snap On tools 1/18th scale 1973 Trans Am, but I have been outbid on the last 2 that I was watching on ebay. Also, the black 1979 Trans Am in the photo has two versions out. One with turbo wheels, one with the snowflakes. I have both new in the boxes, but only one dupe on display, in the glass case. I have also been "collecting" the 1/18th scale Police cars from my area, the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriff cars, including the Police motorcycles. Even though I don't have any more room to displau stuff, I am still looking for glass display cases. I plan on adding to my garage, and having some more room. George

I have the Snap on 73. I never picked up the Mickey Thompson 73... because, frankly, I think it is ugly. Hehe

Lucky you on that '73 Snap On! I have my eyes open for one. Ya, I can nit pick almost all the diecast, but hey, I collect them big time. ;D I have quite a few of those early fourth gens, and I plan (one day) to paint them all the colors that were out for those years. George

Wierd thing on that Greenlight 1/18th scale black GTA. I got another one in the mail yesterday, and I opened it. The number on the bottom is 1526! Strange in that Greenlight says only 1500 were made. Wonder if I can sue for false advertizing, and get all their GTAs/TA/Firebirds. Ha! Anyone get any of these yet, and verify numbers? I posted my numbers on their new 20th TTA on another tread. George
