Thanks. It definately will keep me safe for along time. My next small project is makeing new grilles out of honey comb mesh. May even try to customize my taillights with it. So there's a month or so of protection, LOL

It came out great! I too, have been trying to figure something different for my front grilles as well. I washed and waxed my car the other weekend, and the driver's side grille just broke apart, I guess from age and heat. I want something custom for my car as well. George

Thanks. Man that sucks. The cheapest repro grilles I can find are $119. The mesh I'm going to try to use isn't really a grille like the used on the BRE T/A. It's kind of just a modler's mesh. Me and acouple other people can't find the reall stuff anymore, so I thought I'd give this other stuff a try.

Thanks. I love getting things for my car new or used. I will only have the 1, 2 barrel cabr/intake. Some other extra parts like the turbo hood and stock shifter.

Well, I searched the stampings on my engine. Turns out it isn't a 77 350. It is actually a 1974 pontiac 350 block and rotating assembly. Through more searching, it may have 1969 pontiac 400 heads on it.

As long as they all fit, and work well, so what? ;D Unless you want a numbers matching for a certain year. You can always get a 400 block for those 400 heads. George

Yeah, they match great. Although I want to do a compression test. A 350 with 400 heads.....
If I had the cash I'd drop it on a muncie m-22 4spd ;D

Wow! Looks like you coming along quite nicely. I think the shifter is 100% better after you did the work. It looks great. Keep up the great work that you doing and when you finished drive that car anywhere and everywhere that you can. Thats what they were made to do in the first place.

Thanks. You have no idea man. This car is going to be my daily driver. Thats the plan anyway, my insurance company may force me to change that idea though.

Looks good! Too bad you won't see much when it's installed. I love my Hurst Dual Gate. I bought mine new back in the day. Sure wish I had bought more. I just can't believe the prices now-a-days (if you can find one). George
