Yesterday, I picked up 5 more of the 1967 Firebird 400s in the new blue, but still no red Pro Stock Firebird yet. George

Got a couple of surprises today. The new red Pro Stock Firebird. New with a key fob. And, a new Hot Bird in red. Also with a key fob. I also found another blue 1967 Firebird 400. Enjoy! George

I also picked up the top two Birds, without the key chain (I can no longer find any Hot Wheels cars with the key chains ). Here are what they look like in the slightly different card stock. The Hot Bird in red. The Pro Stock Firebird in red. Enjoy! George

I scored real big over the weekend here in town. I knew that someday, my Wal Mart would get Johnny Lightnings back in stock. Sure enough, they did. And what did I find? These! Both a regular version (I grabbed two), and a White Lightning. Of the same car, and a Trans Am to boot! How cool is that? George

Great score on the White Lightning! I just found the regular JL at Walmart a few days ago - actually the wife spotted it fot me! I have never spotted a WHite Lightning in a store though - just bad luck I guess. The only one I have I bought off a fellow collector who was downsizing

I have found more Treasure Hunts (Hot Wheels) and Green Machines (Greenlights) in the store, than any White Lightnings (Johnning Lightnings). This is my second White Lightning, but my first Firebird White Lightning that I found, without paying big $$$ for. George

Wow George, that black and gold 85 is on my "got to have it" list!
I already have the chrome, white & gold, and solid black 84's and a Halloween 86. I have my fingers crossed that they will do a blue & silver 84...

You guys are going to shoot me....I've bought a couple of the cars shown and opened them up for my son to play with. Heck that's the most fun part IMO, playing Hot Wheels with my son.
Recently I was high bidder on a '77 Hot Wheels Hot Bird (the black with gold bird & stripes), my son thinks it's cool that he now has a car just like the one his Dad use to play with...........I'll have to take pics of his collection sometime.
