Man, Don't you just hate it when you try to fix something, only to have something else go wrong? I came back from my trip out to Los Angeles, California, unpacked everything, and got back to working around the house. I got some things finished. Like painting the last wall of the house. But, since I had a blowout and a flat tire a few weeks before I left on my trip, in the '66 Lincoln, I waited till I got back into town (plus the fact that the tire place said it would be a week or so to get in whitewall tires). So, yesterday, after painting the last wall of the house, I took the Lincoln down to the tire place. Of course, I filled up the gas tank first (I don't want to talk about how much that gas hog holds, let alone talk about how much it cost me ). So, I get two new tires mounted and balanced, and bring the car home. As I parked it and got out of the car, I smelled gas. Yep, sure enough, I pop the hood, and low and behold, the fuel pump is leaking out all that new gas I bought. I guess she didn't like having a full tank. And just as I shut the hood, we get a thunderstorm. So, the hood is down, and I think I'll wait for the weekend, since we are to be getting rain all week. Man, I just hate fixing one thing, to have something else go wrong. My rant of the week , George

Nice rant there George, but isn't that the way it goes. Maybe it's a Lincoln thing, seems everytime I get the Mark VII out there's something to do to it. This year it was an altenator, then front calipers, then rear calipers.....I've come to the conclusion it's not good to let that car sit for too long.

Ya, But after this happened, Lisa nuked leftover pizza, and as I bit into the crust, I hear a snap. Yep, my front crown broke off! $462 later, it's back in. Good thing, I go to SEMA tomorrow. Stupid tooth cost me today's SEMA (I didn't go because of the money I spent on the stupid tooth). But first thing tomorrow morning, I am in Las Vegas. George
