As the title states, Anyone build Firebird/Trans Am models? Here's a few that I did. The white one, I built all stock, just like the car came from the factory. I even bought a big auto transport model, just to get the Pontiac window stickers (the model had 3 Pontiac and 3 Chevy window stickers). The second one (so far, I have only built 2 of them) is the way I wanted Pontiac to build it. Blue with gold accents (Pontiac used silver). I also bought 2 small car accessory packets imported from Japan, as they had Recaro seats, one seat in each set. The sets also had different radios, and CBs, which I also used. Like the Panasonic center roof stereo on the roof. The sets also had disc brakes with rotors that I used, and you can see them thru the wheels (although it is hard to, in the photos). I custom made T-Tops, and even bought another Trans Am model, just to use the California plate, "Demon". I also "cut" the yellow off the bottom of the decals that go around the car, and painted a baby blue, that the gold goes around. I took my 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am to a car show in Arizona back around 1989, and took both models. My big car, and both models got throphies. Well, the models got base plaques that the models set on, as you can see in the photos. What do you have built? George
