This will be a quick post until I have more time to post more. To start with the car is a 1979 Firebird Esprit that came with a T-Roof, 301 Pony, deluxe interior, tilt steering, Rally II rims, rear spoiler, oh and is a red on red car. This is what it looked like just before I ripped it apart 10 years ago. Then shortly after that it looked like this Fast forward 9 years and this is the car at my new (for 2009) house in the spring This past year I removed the front subframe Finished stripping the car And started fixing all the collision damage on the pasanger side firewall Section I cut out Finally started adding stuff back on the car And to make that much more enjoyable i have been getting a helper Today I finished getting the frame support straight and stress cracks drilled and then welded up. I need to clean it, paint it and weld it back on the car. I can then continue with the floor repair Well that's it in a nutshell. I call it the Project because it has been one for 10 years now. Fitting I thought

Nice! I have been playing with some of my car throughout the years as well. My one 1974 Trans Ams being one. I just need to find the time and garage space to get more done on it. Great to see you have a helper! ;D So, tell us the truth. Is it really your car, or your helper's? ;D Thanks for sharing the pictures. George

Although I''m not too happy with it, I got some more done to the floor. I don't like the way it fits or the way my welding looks but it will have to stay for now because I can't afford to change it. I just picked up some flat sheet metal to day, so I am hoping to get this floor buttoned up before winter... ;D ;D ;D Here's what it looks like

Well, No one is going to see it, after you put everything back together. I sure couldn't do any better. I wouldn't let it bother you too much. George
