its a 73 auto 400 formula. (soon to be a 4 speed car) I hope I didnt pay too much for it. 5k :-\ what do you think? any way, this car will compleat the collection I wanted for a long time. it's listed as a #'s 400 / 350 trans. I thought they had th400 trans? here is some pics from the link

That car looks nice! I love the early '70's Formulas. As for the tranny, I'm not sure myself. George

I called the guy and he told me it has a 10 bolt th350 trans . so it must have came with it.
I thought it should be a 12 bolt with a th400 . maybe that was just 70-72

I believe that 1970 was the last year for the 12 bolt rear. I had thought that the th400 was used till 1974. I know that both my '74 Trans Ams with the 455 engine have the th400 trannies. George
