I've always wanted a red car and I finally bought one today. Picked up this '89 GTA from Big Bear. 350 TPI. It's going to need some love but I'll take care of that. Excuse the cell phone pictures...       |

Super! I love the red with the camel interior. Isn't working on cars all the time fun? ;D It has been awhile since I've been to Big Bear. My parents have a huge house up there. Up the street from them, is a guy who owns a nice Special edition Trans Am. He doesn't want to sell it. Now go have fun!  George  |

George The guy I bought this car from has a few Firebirds... 1974 455 TA Red (Was white) 1978 400 SE TA 1979 403 TA Brown 1988 L98 GTA Flame Red 1989 L98 GTA Bright Red (Sold to me) 1989 L98 Formula Red 1989 L98 Formula Black 2002 Corvette Z06 Yellow He says that someone in the neighborhood has a Brewster Green '73 SD-455 TA rotting in his driveway along with a couple other second gens but that he won't sell them. |

Took it to Irwindale today to see what it would do. It was hopeless though because I couldn't get any traction at all. I would spin the tires almost half way down the track. I need to throw on the slicks and try again.   |

Hey Alex! Why don't you bring your car out here to Kingman, AZ. this summer. They are having Street Drags where they close off the big street here, for two days, and all you do is race. Fox TV will be here, Hot Rod Magazine, and alot of others. This is going to be their fifth year street racing. George |
