Here is a photo taken from the 1979 Chicago Auto Show, that was in an article from High performance Pontiac magazine's April 2009 issue. It shows a 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am up on the display. Pretty nice that it also shows the complete Firebird lineup, including a Special Edition, and the Redbird for that year. Enjoy, George

I remember looking at one for a friend from back east. It was around a few thousand miles on it, and right in my neighborhood, and I didn't even know it. When I saw it, there was a bra on the car. The car looked good, but there was damage to the nose. The car later sold, but for less money. Can't remember the price, as it was awhile ago, and I thought it was way overpriced. Still though, I wish I had the money at the time. George

And hard to believe it's the 403 auto version, not the more wanted 400 4 speed version. I too, wish I could have that car in my collection. George
