Although I posted this photo up in the 10th Anniversary section, this photo has a Special Edition in it.
Here is a photo taken from the 1979 Chicago Auto Show, that was in an article from High performance Pontiac magazine's April 2009 issue.
It shows a 1979 Special Edition Trans Am, off to the side.
Pretty nice that it also shows the complete Firebird lineup, including the Redbird for that year.
