Even though this is a Firebird/Trans Am site,
I must admit that I love Mopars.
Yesterday, there was a gatherning/car show for Mopars at out local Dodge Dealership.
Since this weekend is the big Gatherning of Mopars at Las Vegas, a ton of cars showed up here in town for lunch (yep, there was free food and drink-I scored bigtime ) and a show.
I took 83 photos of cars there, and had a super time.
Ha!
The funny thing was, I drove my '86 Le Baron there, and parked in the street, to walk around the show.
While sitting down, eating lunch with some friends, a family that was on the trip with their car (from Gilbert, AZ.), asked me what car I brought.
I laughed, and said that I collect Pontiac Firebird Trans Ams.
They said that was cool, where did I park?
I told them that I didn't want to cause trouble, so I drove my Le Baron ragtop there, and parked in the street.
They then asked me if that was my gold one sitting across the street, on the corner.
I laughed and said yes.
I guess Dodge people are like Firebird people.
They notice everything everywhere. ;D
Anyway, I will show a few photos, in case a few of you would like to see some nice cars.
If you want to see more, post and let me know.
Here are some nice ones I would love to own.
I have to admit, Dodge makes some really nice looking cars.
Even trucks.
Our dealership here, is only asking 2 grand over window for the new Challengers, unlike the $60-80 thousand other dealers are asking.
They even had 2 six speeds in stock.
I was tempted.
Hope you enjoy,
George
