If you've been looking for me lately, I am still around, just without a computer. We took it in last week, to get the free checkup at Staples, and will have some upgrades done as well. Like adding a DVD recorder with lightscribe, and some other stuff. So, maybe I'll start playing with some videos for youtube.  We were suppost to get it back yesterday, but they are running behind, so hopefully by Friday. So, if you don't see me lurking anywhere, you now know why. Just a head's up, George  |

Good to see you back. I'm still around too. Just not too much to report these days. Although "Fast & Furious 4", wasn't as good as I would have hoped... Trying not to think about tax season soon.  |

Man, I am beginning to hate computers. It have been down now, for almost a full month now. We got the computer back, only to have it turn off all the time. We could not get it to turn on, and stay on. We would take it back to Staples, only to have them keep it for a few days, then call us, to say nothing was wrong, and it turns on fine, and stays on. We would get it home, only to have it shut off again. Back and forth for 4 more times, till just this last weekend, when we took it back to Staples, it would not turn on. We had bought almost everything they told us to, to try and see if it would stay on. Nothing seemed to work. We were even told to try and plug it in all the outlets around the house, so we did, to find the same thing happening to us. Well, they finally saw that it would turn off all the time (kinda like taking your car to the dealership, only to have them not see what you are seeing with the car), so they took it apart right there in front of us, and installed a new power supply. They tested our's that came with the computer, and it tested fine. But, they installed a new one with more power, and it is working fine now. Only charged us for the power supply, no install. Just finished getting it hooked up this morning. So, I'm back! Just when you all thought you were all safe from me. Not! Ha! Now, to read all 240 emails, and try to catch up on all the websites I visit. Good to be back, George |
