While at the 2009 Route 66 Fun Run this year, I saw a 1986 Recaro Trans Am.
It was from Canada, and the family all drove their cars down here for the show.
Mom and Dad in their car, daughter in hers, and the son in his Recaro.
I didn't get a chance to meet the son, but chatted with the Dad for quite awhile, taking photos as well.
The Dad talked the son into changing the gold 16 inch wheels for the Camaro 15 inch wheels, which I didn't like, but then, it's not my car.
I do know that it would drive nicer, with less jolting and such, over the hard 16 inch, but I perfer a car to handle, so I would have stayed with the 16s.
KPH, instead of MPH.
And lastly, electric Recaros to boot!
I tried to get a shot of the RPO codes, but with the sun not showing the view in my digital, this was the best that it came out.
