Well, It's almost that time of the year again. I'll be going to the SEMA Show again this year. Anyone planning on going? If so, maybe we can meet up? After the show, I'll be hitting the hobby stores and such, looking for Firebird diecast as well. I hope to get a few more autographs, and see if there are any Firebirds at the show. And I'll be meeting some friends from Los Angeles, which I only seem to see at the show each year, since I moved. Let me know, George

It would be cool if you could take guests.
I would have to convince my better half, but would be a great reason to come down and see you/and the show!
Next year, that is, too much going on right now.
Take pictures for us, please!
Dave.

I really want to go, but I don't think I'll make it this year. I want to be able to dive my T/A out, and redline it on the salt flats on the way there. Hey George, did you try yours on the flats?

Oh, I'll be taking lots of photos for sure. As every year goes by though, there are less Firebirds/Trans Ams there. I show the Birds that are there each year, as well as some others I see and like (like the new Challenger ). Not any good people to sign autographs this year, but after knowing Jim Wangers since around 1988, from all the local SoCal GTO shows and such, which, he also owns a 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am , I plan to finally get his autograph, as he will be there. ;D One thing about SEMA. Every year, Hot Wheels is there, and I usually get a free car, that's a SEMA only. ;D I should put up all the beautiful girls that are there each year, as I also stand next to them, for the pictures. ;D Check around my message board, as I have put up some old SEMA shots of cars. I haven't been to the Salt Flats, except flying over them. Not sure I want all that salt on the bottom of my car. I also wish I could get others in, like I use to. Since 9/11, they changed everything, making it very hard now to get in. I am able to get Lisa in as my spouse. So, we are both able to get in-FREE! ;D Since I put together a few books, I get in as Press. I may be able to post from the show, from the Press Room (can't get Lisa in there though). George

I'd probably to one run then find a self serve car wash right away. Though it's got to be tons of fun to run all out like that instead of just a quater mile at a strip., so it may be worth it

You know, Check in your area, or next biggest city, as there is always someone hosting an autocross. I have let to meet anyone who has done that, and not liked it. With drag racing, you take a chance blowing up your car. I myself, love road racing better than drag racing. I got my 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am up to 160 mph! That was a blast. George

I haven't yet tried auto cross, I really want to. Honestly I'm 99.999% sure there's no autocross organization going on around my way. I may have to start one up.

Is it a blonde wig? ;D I'm not into pigtails though. I hope you'll shave your legs first, before you get in that dress. George

lawbreaker2 FYI I went to the show with George a few years back and I did not have to wear a wig or shave my legs... I guess George must really like ya. j/k My friend is going to vegas this week for the NHRA event, but he is leaving before SEMA starts. I may be headed out there in April with some friends, but that is still up in the air. If I do go I'll be sure to come and visit George's T/A Museum.

Too bad SEMA changed all the rules for getting in. It is alot harder now. They seem to want a business licence for everything. I don't have one, so I can'tget in that way. But, since I authored two books, I can get in that way. So, I do. Only for myself though. I get Lisa in as my spouse. I'm sure you can go down to your local city, and ask about an internet licence. That works, as I have seen people at SEMA doing it that way. And Dan, You are welcome to stop by anytime. And, if your friends are girls, bring them! ;D Ha! George
