Well ya know I was tryin to legalize the T/A under hagerty insurance. When I went to the hagerty site to get a quote, my car info with agreed value( price of car and all the parts I have for it added up) of $4,000 kept in drive way, and the 50 mile plan. Thats how I answered the questions on their quote page. The quote came out to be $157a year. Yesterday I called them to get the insurance, the lady said the car must be garage kept, so I asked, then why is "driveway" in the list of where the car is kept? She didn't answer she just said well... then went to the next info. Next she ask value of car and I said 4 grand, she said the lowest value car they will insure is $10,000. So I ask, why does the quote page say lowest value car you will insure is $3,500. She started to say "well" again, I said alright you know what, never mind I'll go get insured somewhere else and hung up. I don't know what their problem is over there. If there's anyone here how works for hagerty, then sorry for this, but they suck

I haven't checked them out yet, But everyone I talked with, said that the car has to be garage kept. Maybe someday I'll use them. Good luck finding something. Just try the regular cheap ones, like Gieco of Progressive or someone. Being young, and having a muscle car will always be kinda high. But it's the price you gotta pay. George

Yeah I know. The day I bought the car we drove to my house. We insured it for the trip and the company said $800. That was Geico I believe.
