I've started this thread on just about every firebird forum I'm a member of. I've found a very high number of big pontiac fans are big mopar fans also. Anyway, If you weren't driving a firebird/trans am, what would you be driving?
I'd be driving a 69 camaro which I would turn into a YENKO tribute car. 427 big block which yenko's shop built to over 500 horse, 4 speed muncie trans, Blue with white yenko side decals and sYc hood decals.
BTW: almost bought a 69 camaro a week before I found my T/A. The car is around the corner from my house, but in very sad shape. Z28.

Yep, I am a Mopar fan myself. I'll take a Daytona Charger, or a new Challenger. I was lucky enough to see a Superbird on the road, back during my college days. I would love one of those. And I probably wouldn't drive it much either. George

I like the '68 and/or '69 Dodge Charger myself. I don't think I would consider myself a Mopar guy but they do have awesome looking cars. I like the '69 Chevy Camaro too. I don't they made to many cars I didn't like in 1969. It would be a hard choice for that year to pick a make or model to be my favorite.

Yup I like Mopar too, ;D Almost bought a 68 cornet R/T 440 4sp back in 89' for $800 ;D But I told the guy that was to much money. The car was clean it was his dads and he just passed and he did not want this old car. I wish I would have bought that car, and I had a 78 Z28 350 4sp car before my t/a. ;D

Well, when I was looking for my first car - I wanted either an El Camino or a '70 Chevelle SS. This was back in '89 and they weren't exactly cheap for a first time buyer especially when those cars were being sold by private parties. I also like the 440 6 pack 'Cuda - Plum Crazy.

Well, if I could not drive a Firebird every day I'd probably be in some kind of Blue Oval product. Most likely a Mustang, but I'd love to have a Marauder or some other fun Ford. There is a remote chance i'd be in a Camaro. ;D As far as a toy, there are plenty of cool muscle cars I'd love to have. The more unusual the better.

Talkin pick-ups, I'd like a big dodge dually turbo diesel. I love the sound of the turbo diesels, especially with stacks.

4speed - Great choice on the H3. My wife and I each drive one. I love it! It took a little getting used to because I have always had sports cars. But, it is nice to be able to run over pretty much anything
