I got my 17/9 snowflake wheels. now I want to lower the car. I'm going with 2" drop spindles in the front. but how do I lower the rear? blocks or de-spring the leafs? I have new leafs for it. and need a tire size that wont stick out of the car.

Wow! Those are beautiful! Not sure of the tire size, as I don't know anyone who is using those. I would check on the other forums. As for lowering the rear, try leaving on the original leaf springs first (just a thought, as they sag over the years anyway. ). George

Don't do blocks because in some cases it can fail and then no moresuspension system. I would recommend removing a leaf or shackles.

I seem to remember that there is a replacement part that lets them fit in deeper, right where the leaf spring fits in the front of the body. Don't know what it's called. George
