Ya, All the dealerships that I bought my cars from, are long gone. Already torn down, and new buildings up. That was years ago. The local dealership here, still has the Pontiac signs up. Thanks for the pictures! George

There will be many empty Pontiac Dealer lots on June 1st.
It is sad that General Motors abandoned the performance line of cars and the brand image.
The old cars were great and loved. They are still loved.
The New Pontiac, just like Saturn Division lost its identity and was absorbed into the corporate car design philosophy.
They were building cars like the G3, G5, G6, Vibe, Torrent, Solstise, Astra, Aura and Sky.
All of these cars shared the same melted jelly bean ovoid design and shared corrporate motor and driveline components. The cars were plagued with service problems and repair problems. They had no identity, no uniqueness and no soul.
In the end they had no buyers.
