New project car(sort of)

I found this last week and was finally able to buy it and get it home today. This is the only 2nd gen Trans Am molded go kart body I have ever seen and I had to have it. This thing is so cool! I only have the body so far and I am not sure the paint scheme it will get yet, but the kids( and Dad) are excited! Story goes that this was a Mellow Yellow giveaway in the early 80's and it used to be green. The local Coke plant got it and the owner decided to take it for a spin before they gave it away. Evidently he was too big for the car and couldn't stop it before he ran into a pole and broke the fiberglass. Coke sent him another and a local body shop did some horse trading to get it as their sign. It was about 15' in the air on the sign when I spotted it. Work out a deal with the owner and brought it home. Here are the pics:

I saw over on another website, a guy who converted a NASCAR into a Trans Am.
I have had to pass on a few drag car versions of the Firebird, only because of shipping costs.
Figures they are always so far away!
So, what are your plans for it?
Copy of your car?
Paint color?
hang it on the garage wall?

Right now the son wants to make it a clone of the TATA. It won't be correct of course, but he is amped up and wants to show it. How could I say no? ;D Besides how cool would it be to pull up to a show pulling a carbon copy go cart of the real car? I thought you might like it George! It is my best collectible find by far. I have already found a running go kart frame to go under it. I have to finish the real one first though.
