This was a shock for us. We took the Jeep out in the desert yesterday morning (7AM was 92 degrees), just driving down some fire roads way out in the desert, away from any life. We were driving along, and lisa says "Hey look! There is a donkey". Well, as I drove closer (and slower), it turned out to not be a donkey. Nope, it was a Lama. Way out in the middle of nowhere! Seemed friendly enough, and I had a bottle of water, so I jumped out, and looked for something to pour the water in. All I found was a plastic bag, so I dug a small hole in the ground, put down the plastic bag, and poured the water into it. The Lama walked away, buy as we drove off, he was walking back towards it. Hopefully he found it, as it was starting to get so hot, we left. I told Lisa, no way are we bringing this thing home. ;D It must have escaped from someone, as they don't run free out here. Here he is. Enjoy! George

We didn't have a clue. It was on Sunday, and we have seen everything from cows, to donkeys running around there. Lots of free running animals that you just can't take. If so, I'm sure Lisa would have all kind of animals here at home. Felt bad for the little guy (who was taller than me). George
