Found this tonight...At first I wasn't sure it was real, but it appears it has some autographs on the front fender, so maybe there is some significance to the car after all. It looks like under the words Official Pace Car it says 1997 Nascar Sanctioned....but I can't make out the rest, I think it says Pontiac Excitement under that, and then there's lettering on the rear 1/4 panel too. (can't read that either) Real or not it's interesting, wish there were better pics of it though. www.autofind.com/dealer/details/14951.passenger/2G2FS32K0V2221211/

They did a bunch of cars like that at California Speedway for 2-3 years in a row. All thew local Southern California Pontiac dealerships would then sell the cars on their lots, with autographs, along with a huge framed proof of the whole thing. A couple of huge 8x10 photos with the drivers who all went around the track in that car, as well as both autographs on the photos (or under the photos), as well as autographs on the car somewhere. Either way, they are cool to have. This car looks great. Thanks for sharing, George

Nice car, I agree with George, probably a local festival car or something along those lines.
I also like the fact that the car is triple white with leather and chrome, that is a little unusual.
