As some of you know, I am a big fan of turbos. I have a second gen and a third gen turbo cars. But this car has a very nice turbo. Big too. See how big the turbo is? Nice! George

What is it about girls? They all want a guy with a big shifter. I couldn't get Lisa away from this one. Here is another bike I liked. George

I need to go out there at least once ( someday )

92cont, I like the one with the chrome nose much better. I feel it copies the real '69 Trans Am much better. Yes, the nose is pointy, but it looks more like the real thing to me. I even love the chrome rear bumper in the back. I am so tired of seeing a huge wedge of plastic in the cars now-a-days. I do feel sorry for all these guys making these conversions. They cannot please everybody. There is always someone who complains about something. I look at it this way. Let them all make their car in limited numbers. In the end, it's the buyer's who will pay all that money to buy one. My choices? The Lingerfelter in Lucerne Blue and bright blue interior first. Second choice? The '69 version with the chrome front and rear. Third choice? The '69 version of Kevin Morgan. In the real world? The cheapest one that I could get. Remember now, in all these versions, you pretty much have to buy the Camaro SS first, and then drop at least another 30 grand on top of that. That's alot of money to spend. With all that money, I could sure add a few more cars to my collection. George Yep I'm with you on what you're saying too.....When I look at all the TA conversions, I look for the ones that best represent what GM would've/could've done. Some are "over the top", others are pretty dang close to what could've been. IMHO, Lingenfelter offers the closest thing to what GM might've done. And your last sentence hits the nail on the head...for the amount of $$ it would take to own one of these conversions, I'd rather own a couple classic TA's.

I really like the LPE cars. This latest one is great looking too. (And the model would look pretty good riding along in the back seat... as my wife would be in the passenger seat... ) I absolutely loved the Lucerne blue on blue one that was at the T/A Nats. I think I've seen videos of that black thirdgen from Europe. I agree with both of you guys on the price. We could buy a collection of several clean 1st-4th gens for that price.

Here are more photos to share with you all. Here is Lisa with a star in the car world. He is the reason for all our safety mods to our cars. We told him we drove Trans Ams. And here is another 5 th gen Camaro Trans Am conversion. Now you know who built it. Lisa liked this one as well. George
