ago yesterday(2/12/81) Ol Blue was built in Norwood, Ohio. I took delivery on 2/27/81. Amazingly, that winter except for a few days of flurries, there was NO measurable snowfall and NO road salt until early March. Absolutely unheard of in upstate NY. I guess the weather Gods chose to wait until my car was home safe and sound before dumping snow on our heads.

I bought my 1981 Special Edition Turbo Trans Am back in either June or July that year.
I will have to go check that now.

George, no I couldn't drive Ol' Blue on her birthday. That will have to wait until early April when the salt on the roads is gone.
