How super cool! ;D The car looks great! Racing bucket seats, Hurst Dual gate, Hooker Roll Bar, factory radio with 8 track, so fantastic! I even love the 8 inch Snowflakes instead of the 7 inch Honeycombs. And you found this on a dealership lot? More info please. George

That is so cool! I see Herb Adams stuff on it. Is this going to be a keeper? George

Yes, it's a keeper. Sadly, the 72 had to go for the deal to happen. I got a call earlier today. The car was picked up at 2pm. It's on the way!

The truck brought it yesterday morning, but of course I was working and our son had a double header last night. Work again today and then this evening I finally got some time to look it over. I will post more pictures tomorrow. It is and isn't what I expected at the same time. What I did expect: Nothing is ever as good as it looks in pictures and this one is no different. It's a good 10 footer. They at some point put a cheapo paint job on it and it will need another in the not too distant future.I am glad they at least had the forethought to mask the decals( although not too well). Overall, the body and underside are much better than I expected for a MI/PA car. Like I said, paint at some point in the future, but right now it's a driver  What I didn't expect: The car to be so much fun to drive! ;D The car has the VSE stabilizers, battery relocation kit, fan shroud and inner fenders altered for lowering. Koni shocks, roll bar, Corbeau racing seats, front structure kit and I believe solid bushings, but not sure on that yet. It handles like it is on rails! Brand new Firehawk tires. Performer intake, Holley carb, MSD ignition, headers (not the 180's ), aluminum water pump and a new dual exhaust. Except for some wear on the driver outer seat and driver floor board carpet, and usual fade on some parts, the interior is mint.I also found out why it needed exhaust work on a brand new exhaust; I guess since it sits low, someone drug one of the muffflers over something a slit a hole in it. I will post more pictures tomorrow. I guess you can tell, I am one happy camper!

Glad you are having fun with it! Years ago, back when I was in a Trans Am Car Club, out in Southern California (Trans Am Club Of America, Southern California), there were two members with Fire Ams. One was a 1978 red Trans Am, with a transplanted 455 in it, the other a 1979 Trans Am with a 403 Olds. They were bust friends, but the guy with the '78 had more money. When I joined the club, I had H. O. Racing stuff on my car. Their sway bars (much bigger than WS6), and I had installed Konis already. In the twisties, I could keep up, but since my car was a 301 Turbo, the 455 one would walk away from me. My car was very heavy, as I had installed the Recaro Ideal "C" front seats, with the stereophonic head rest in them. One seat alone, weight as much as both front seats, and the rear three piece seat! No kidding. I had my Recaros and a whale tail on my car, when I met them, and the '78 guy didn't like them. But, after a few car shows, he installed the lowest Recaros in his car, and a whale tail (without the lip, mine had the 3 and 1/2 inch lip). He then told everyone, I copied him. It is funny, as I have tons of photos in a photo album, of club activities, in order of month and year, that show different. He did have the Roll Bar before me. George
